The feel of rolling these is excellent, and the weight is perfect. The color looks great, with a nice surface finish that is great in the hands.
An anodized coating would be nicer and more durable, and milled out numbers would be easier to read, but for the sale price ($80) this is exactly what I expect.
I've recently been purchasing metal dice to replace the plastic ones I've accumulated over the decades. The idea is to own something more permanent that won't wear out, is perfectly balanced, and works as designed. I love the finish and appearance of the dice, though I did think they'd have a little more weight. Aside from that, I guess the only downside is that the manufacturer used a paint that will start to wear off soon. Given the cost, this isn't really acceptable, but I can probably stretch out their lifespan by rolling on soft surfaces. Still, it shouldn't have been necessary to do so.
